Since the last years Uruguay has positioned itself as one of the countries most Gay Friendly of Latin America with high quality tourist proposals oriented to the LGBT community. In fact it was appointed as the most Gay Friendly country in Latin America and the sixth in the world by the magazine Spartacus (world leader in tourism of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT). Most of these proposals is concentrated in its capital, the city of Montevideo.
