In fact it was appointed as the most Gay Friendly country in Latin America and the sixth in the world by the magazine Spartacus (world leader in tourism of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT). Most of these proposals is concentrated in its capital, the city of Montevideo. The programming is characterized by its versatility: Disco chill out, pop, Latin, electronic, karaoke, etc. Another well known discotheque is Chains Pub  (Soriano 827) that offers humor shows.

Montevideo also offers some exclusive saunas. There are spaces designed for the gay public that seeks a comfortable, discreet and modern place to have a moment of relaxation.
